Pastry chef handles the operations of the pastry kitchen & prepares the end product as per the set standard of the Brand, coordinates and performs the pastry orders in an efficient manner in order to deliver the memorable experience to the guests. Ensuring the food quality and presentation is on top level.Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparing pastry product: desserts, bakery;
- Following the operations standards within the pastry kitchen in order to supply the restaurant(s) with required pastry stocks;
- Able to handle the assigned pastry kitchen section;
- Working in a team with the pastry chefs along with cleaners and drivers;
- Ensuring the kitchen area is always clean;
- Doing inventories and stock takes on a permanent basis, refilling the stocks on time keeping the par levels and ensuring the availability of all ingredients always;
- Ensuring the equipment is taken care of and managed in a proper manner to avoid any breakdowns;
- Performing the duties according to the weekly schedule.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Pasty chef skills and knowledge;
- Baker skills and knowledge;
- Being a positive, self-confident and ambitious person
- Arabic speaking; English is a nice asset;
- Neat & tidy personality;
- Having high level of ownership and responsibility
- All trainings on the company's standards, operations and stocks management will be provided
